1. The Promoter
The Promoter is: Ultimate Travel Competitions Ltd. Company Number 11215119 and whose registered office is at 124-128, City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.
Our correspondence address is 124-128, City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.
If you wish to contact us for any reason, please email dream@Ultimatetravelcompetitions.com.
2. The competition
2.1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at https://www.ultimatetravelcompetetitions.com (the “Website”) and through the promoter’s corresponding app (“App”)
2.2. An entry fee is payable each time you enter via our online entry method (“Online Entry Route”), or you may enter for free via the postal entry method outlined in paragraph 3.9 below (“Postal Entry Route”). Each person who enters either via the Online Entry Route or the Postal Entry Route is an “Entrant” for the purpose of these Terms and Conditions.
3. How to enter
3.1. The competition will run from when it is published to the closing date specified on the Website or App. These dates shall be referred to as the “Published Date” and “Closing Date” respectively. All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in London, England.
3.2. If it is absolutely necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter and not to do so would be unfair to those who have already entered the competition, the “Promoter” may change the Closing Date or correct an incorrectly displayed Published Date on the Website or App. If the Promoter does amend the Closing Date of a competition, the new details will be displayed on the Website and App – and all entrants will be notified via email. The promoter will not extend the closing date simply to sell more entries.
3.3. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter no earlier than the Published Date and no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. All competition entries received outside these times may not be included without any refund. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw. If an entry is received by the Postal Entry Route within 72 hours after the Closing Date, the Entrant will receive a credit equal to the cost of entry via the Online Entry Route to the draw, which will enable the Entrant to enter an alternative draw(s) of their choice on the Website/App using the Online Entry Route;
3.4. To enter the competition using the Online Entry Route:
Draw-Based Competitions:
(1) go to the Website/App;
(2) select desired number of entries; then
(3) complete the checkout process, including answering any competition related question, and submit the online entry form; then
(4) complete the payment to receive your order confirmation.
Instant Win Competitions:
(1) go to the Website/App and view the instant win competition;
(2) select your desired number of entries; then
(3) complete the checkout process and submit the online entry form; then
(4) complete the payment to receive your ticket; then
(5) look up your ticket to see if you have won.
3.5. All entries must be submitted in the English language. Entries in languages other than English will automatically be disqualified and no refund will be given.
3.6. The Promoter will send confirmation that your entry has been received, and your allocated ticket number(s) by email to the email address you used to register for your account.
3.7. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are not successfully completed, are lost or are delayed regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.8. By purchasing entries, registering an account and submitting a competition entry, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter and are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.9. You may enter the competition using the Free Postal Entry Route by complying with the following conditions:
(a) send your entry on an unenclosed postcard by first or second class post to the Promoter at the following address: 124-128, City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.
(b) include with your entry the following information:
(i) your full name;
(ii) your address;
(iii) a contact telephone number and email address; and
(iv) your chosen competition.
(c) If you are entering an Instant Win Competition through the Free Postal Entry Route you will be required to register for an account via the Website or App prior to us receiving your postal entry. Following receipt of your valid postal entry we will apply a site credit to your account. You must use this site credit to enter an Instant Win Competition via the Website or App and receive a ticket to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
(d) incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
(e) you may make multiple free entries for any competition (up to any limit placed on entries by the Promoter) but each free entry must be submitted and posted to the Promoter separately. Bulk entries will not be accepted as multiple entries and if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry;
(f) by entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions;
(g) the Promoter will email each Entrant who has submitted a valid entry into a Draw Based Competition via the Postal Entry Route to confirm their ticket number(s). The Promoter will add site credit equal to the cost of the entry via the Online Entry Route if entering an Instant Win Competition.
(h) Entrants must have created an account on the Website/App for the free entry to be processed. All details on the postcard must correspond to the details on the account to receive the order confirmation and ticket number. Postal entries received without a registered account cannot be processed. Entrants must add an address to the related account for entries to be processed.
4. Choosing a winner
4.1 Automatic Draw Based Competitions:
4.1.1 All Entrants who have entered an automated Draw Based Competition in accordance with paragraph 3 above, will have their names and ticket numbers added to a spreadsheet and will be placed into the draw. The winner will be chosen using googles ‘random number generator’ to generate the “Winner”. The draw will take place on the Closing Date (“Draw Date”).
4.1.2 In the event of the draw being disrupted for any reason or having an inconclusive outcome, we can at our sole discretion run the draw again, either through the same random draw process or an alternative method.
4.2 Live Draw Based Competitions:
4.2.1 All entrants will have their names and ticket numbers added to a spreadsheet. This spreadsheet maybe visible during the live draw. The live draw will be completed using our random number ball selector machines (“Ball Selectors”). The ‘winning number’ is ruled to be valid and complete and therefore results stand as they are, on the condition that the balls are drawn with no interruption. If an unsold number is generated the Ball Selectors will be reloaded and another draw will take place until a number is generated that has been sold.
In the unlikely event of a technical malfunction, the balls already drawn will remain official, the remaining numbers that are required to be drawn to complete the winning ticket shall be drawn by reloading the relevant Ball Selectors’ (those which have malfunctioned) and attempting to draw the remaining numbers a second time.
In the event that there is a malfunction for a second time, we reserve the right to utilise one of three different options to select the remaining numbers and produce the winning ticket.
a. We have a backup “ball selector machine” which we can use in replacement of the failed machine. b. The Google ‘random number generator’ can be used to select the remaining number(s). c. Balls placed into a glass bowl and manually mixed up old school style and out of view from the person drawing out the numbers.
The numbers generated will be placed along side the original draw numbers to generate the winning the prize number.
4.3 Instant Win Competitions
4.3.1. All Entrants who have entered an ‘Instant Win Competition’ in accordance with paragraph 3.4 “Instant Win Competitions” above will be assigned a ticket(s) known as the “Ticket Assignment”. Winning Instant Win tickets will have been selected prior to the published date of the draw on the website using the Google ‘random number generator’.
For help with entries, please email us at dream@ultimatetravelcompetitions.com.

Anti Money Laundering/ Know Your Client Policy
Money laundering is the process by which the proceeds of crime are converted into assets which appear to have a legitimate origin, so that they can be retained or used to fund further crime, including terrorism.
In the context of prize competitions, this means that people could, for example, be using stolen credit cards to enter competitions in the hope of winning prizes. Those prizes could then be sold and turned into cash. If proper checks were not in place, it would be very difficult to prove that the money from the sale was not legitimately obtained by the criminal.
Preventing money laundering is therefore something that we take very seriously.
We have put in place this policy to help guard against the risk of these prize competitions being used for money laundering. In doing so, we are also committed to the wider issue of preventing these competitions and our systems from being used to commit crimes generally.
As we are sure you will understand, this is a legal obligation which we must adhere to and therefore we require your assistance in achieving this. We also believe it is a socially responsible thing to do.
Therefore, compliance with this policy and cooperation with its enforcement is mandatory for anyone who wishes to enter our prize competitions.
Anyone who enters our competitions is known as an “Entrant”.
To comply with this AML/KYC policy, all staff have undergone and will continue to undergo training to ensure that they are aware of their legal responsibilities and know what to look out for when guarding against money laundering.
This includes monitoring entries, monitoring the opening of new accounts and looking for suspicious or unusual activities by Entrants.
We regularly carry out risk assessments and review this policy to ensure that it is up to date.
If, as a result of any risk assessment, we decide to update this policy, the new version will be posted here. We may also update this policy from time to time in response to any changes in the law.
Whilst all staff will be guarding against money laundering, we have appointed Lee Oakes to be our designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). It is the MLRO’s responsibility to report suspicious activities and possible acts of money laundering to the relevant authorities.
If you have any questions about this policy you should send them to the MLRO via email to office@utcomps.com.
What we require from you as an Entrant
Before entering any of our competitions (whether by the paid or free entry route), all entrants must open an account on our website. The account must be opened in the Entrant’s real name. Made up names, nicknames or anonymous accounts will not be accepted.
From time to time, we may request that you provide further information to enable us to verify your identity or assist with our investigations. For example, we may ask for a copy of your passport, driving licence or other recognised forms of ID. You must provide this information within a reasonable time.
You must ensure that any information you provide when opening an account, or at any other time is accurate and up to date.
If any of your personal details change, you must inform us as soon as reasonably possible.
Entrants are only permitted to open one account.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and be resident in the United Kingdom.
Entry to competitions must be made via our website or the designated free entry route.
Payments must be made via authorised means only. Cash payments will not be accepted.
We happily accept free entries in accordance with our terms and conditions and legal obligations. However, we are aware that the free entry route can be abused by criminals using stolen, fake or second hand stamps. Therefore, any Entrant using the free entry route to make multiple free entries will come under close scrutiny.
If any Entrant does not comply with this policy when opening an account, entering a competition or does not provide additional information when requested, their account will be suspended pending further investigations or may be closed entirely at our discretion.
Winners of competitions
If you are a winner of any of our competitions we will request confirmation of your identity, eligibility to enter the competition and proof of address before awarding the prize.
If you are unable or unwilling to provide the information we request, you will forfeit the prize.
If you win a cash prize, it will be transferred directly to your nominated bank account. You must provide evidence that you are the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account and it must be a UK registered bank account.
Record keeping
To enable us to comply with this policy and assist with the investigation of any suspicious activities, we keep records of all registered Entrants and the transactions they make.
This includes keeping copies of any documents provided.
All personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of this policy
Please ensure that you review this policy and accept its terms before entering any competition. By entering a competition, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to this policy.
